Dance Creations is dedicated to bringing quality and affordable dance instruction to the community of Whitchurch-Stouffville and its surrounding areas.
Dance Creations offers recreational, examination and competitive programs for students two years of age and up! Our programs focus on the fundamentals of dance, with progressions towards more challenging turns, jumps and choreography.
Dance Creations instructors are experienced and qualified individuals.
Our Instructors
Ms. Natalie Siatskas
Dance Creations Inc. is owned and operated by Ms. Natalie Siatskas. Ms. Natalie has been dancing for more than thirty years and teaching for over fifteen years, during that time her passion for the performing arts has grown a great deal. She is certified under the Performing Arts Educators of Canada (PAEC), Acrobatic Arts, Progressive Ballet Technique and is finishing her certification through the Associated Dance Arts for Professional Teachers (ADAPT).
Ms. Natalie has trained extensively in ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, musical theatre, hip hop, salsa, contemporary and modern dance. She is a firm believer in continuing education and attends many workshops in Canada and the United States to better herself as a dance educator and studio owner every year.
Ms. Natalie has always been extremely committed to her dancing, being a full-time competitive dancer for ten years, an assistant teacher from the age of twelve, and teaching her own classes by the age of sixteen, she continued her dance education at Ryerson University, where she had the chance to learn from instructors who have performed on Broadway and for the National Ballet of Canada.
After Ryerson, Ms. Natalie attended York University where she graduated with a degree in Psychology, while completing her undergraduate degree she attended courses which focused on child development, mental disorders, anatomy, and health; this has enabled her to be better equipped when dealing with issues such as bullying, self-esteem, body image, healthy eating and injury prevention.
Ms. Natalie’s students and alumni have excelled under her instruction; being accepted into high schools and post-secondary schools for the performing arts, winning numerous overalls for highest marks, receiving most potential awards, choreographer choice awards, and performing at local events, festivals and fundraisers. Ms. Natalie opened Dance Creations in 2012 with a vision that she could help young dancers feel accepted, supported and happy the way she did growing up with dance while receiving a strong dance education. She has worked hard to create an environment where students can feel a sense of belonging, and enjoyment while learning to appreciate and love the art of dance.
Ms. Veronica Laxamana
Ms. Veronica (Vee) started her passion for dance at the age of 6. She was not unfamiliar to the stage as she was quickly introduced to performing in various TV shows & media events, as well as being granted a dance scholarship with Ballet Philippines. In the Company, she was offered one of the leading roles in their Nutcracker Production as Clara. Ms. Vee continued her dance training with the National Ballet School at the age of 12. Her love for the arts brought her to pursue a major in Theatre and Arts Management from the University of Toronto.
Since then, Ms. Vee has performed all around Ontario and accomplished numerous projects as a Dancer, Instructor, Choreographer & Producer. She was a dance member of Dance Collective II, a Contemporary troupe (1997-99); Dancer for Black Magic, an urban hip hop troupe (2002); Director and Dance Captain for Tennis Canada's Racquettes Squad (2003 & 2006); Dancer/Choreographer for Niagara Fallsview and Casino Rama “International Artists” concerts (2003-2007); Jazz/Hip Hop/Ballet Instructor for Bravo! Centre for the Arts, Richmond Hill (2005-2010); Dancer/Choreographer/Hip Hop & Street Jazz Instructor/Exec Team for VYbE (2002-2007, 2015); Recreational and Competitive Instructor/Choreographer for York Dance Academy (2017-2019); & Artistic Co-Producer for YouNique Dance Collective (2003-present).
One of her memorable experiences as a performer was working for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines as activities & entertainment staff for a couple of years. She also got a chance to teach beginner Latin & Country line dance to guests onboard. She currently teaches and conducts workshops for public and private elementary/post-secondary schools in York and Toronto Regions, including St. Brigid CS, J Addison School, Cardinal Carter CHS and St. Joseph Morrow Park CHS. Ms. Vee hopes to continue teaching, inspiring and sharing the joy of movement and dance with children of all ages!
Ms. Andrea Paspalis
Ms. Andrea has been dancing for over 30 years and has over 15 years of teaching experience. She has her Associates certification through B.A.T.D. and has studied many different styles of dance including Jazz, Tap, Ballet, Lyrical, Musical Theatre, Hip Hop, Merengue, Bachata and Salsa. Ms. Andrea has competed in Canada and the US, as well as performed in Kellogg’s commercials, Sick Kids Telethons, The Camilla Scott Show and many corporate events.
Ms. Andrea’s choreography has won her students countless overall trophies and awards as well as attaining scholarships and workshops for ‘Best Choreography’ and ‘Best Entertainment’. Ms. Andrea helps her students focus on technique while bringing enthusiasm and discipline to all her classes.
Miss Stephanie Liu
Miss Stephanie has been dancing for more than 18 years and has trained extensively in jazz, lyrical, contemporary, tap, ballet, acro, and hip hop. At the age of nine she started competing in various dance competitions across Ontario and has won multiple titles and overall awards for her performances.
On top of her dance experience, Miss Stephanie has had over eight years of dance teaching experience. She first started teaching children in community dance programs when she was 14 years old and has then moved onto teaching dance at childcare centres, summer camps, birthday parties, and now at Dance Creations.
Miss Stephanie is certified under the International Dance Teaching Standards. While helping her students develop as dancers, it’s also important to her that she creates a positive and safe environment for them to learn in. To do this, Miss Stephanie has participated in multiple children’s health and wellness programs in Canada and is certified under the HIGH FIVE healthy child development program, HEADS UP concussion training in youth sports, Standard First Aid, and is a member of Healthy Dancer Canada.
Miss Stephanie is currently continuing her dance training by attending dance classes and workshops across Toronto and at the In-Studio classes at the National Ballet. She is also currently helping the Ryerson University School of Performance develop an art history course to help promote education in the arts.
Miss Stephanie is excited to help her students meet their personal goals and grow not only in the studio as dancers, but outside of the studio as well. She hopes to create a fun and positive environment for her students to learn in and looks forward to sharing her passion of dance!
Mr Quinton Addae
Mr. Quinton Addae is an award-winning dancer and acrobat from Pickering, Ontario and has been dancing for 10 years now. He has trained extensively in jazz, contemporary, modern, lyrical and acro and continues to train and better his technique. Mr. Quinton fell in love with dance at a young age while watching televised shows that were focused around dance. From that moment on, Mr. Quinton knew dance was for him! He took his first acro class at the beginning of his dance career and hasn’t stopped trying new skills and looking for new ways to bend his body since!
Mr. Quinton is currently in post-secondary education and is studying at York University. He is hoping to receive his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance and Bachelor of Education in French by 2023. Mr. Quinton loves kids and wants all of his students to succeed and to feel safe and confident in his classes. Mr. Quinton hopes to keep learning and finding new ways to structure his classes so that they benefit his students! Mr. Quinton is also currently in the process of becoming certified as an acro instructor with Acrobatic Arts Inc. and will be looking to gain more certification in the following years. Mr. Quinton is also continuously looking for performance opportunities.
Mr. Quinton hopes to set an example to his students that with hard work you can accomplish anything you set your mind too! Mr. Quinton wants his students to follow their dreams and to feel confident and excited about not only dance but everyday life!
This is Mr. Quinton’s first year of teaching at Dance Creations and he cannot wait to see what this year brings. He looks forward to growing with Dance Creations and getting to know his students.
Mr Avinoam Silverman
Avinoam Silverman was born in Jerusalem, Israel and began his training at The Jerusalem Rubin Academy of Music and Dance. After completing grade 10, he moved to Toronto to continue his studies at Canada’s National Ballet School. He graduated in 1996 and joined The National Ballet of Canada as an Apprentice. He became a member of the Corps de Ballet in 1997 and was promoted to Second Soloist in 2004. While with the company he has danced in numerous rolls including the White Couple in Forgotten Land, Mercutio in Romeo and Juliet, The Organ Duet in Soldiers Mass to name a few and has worked with many different choreographers such as Crystal Pite, James Kudelka, Peter Wright, Jhon Alleyne and more.
In 2009 Mr. Silverman retired from The National Ballet of Canada. In 2010 Mr. Silverman created a work for Cadence "City Connect" titled 'Change' which marked his choreographic debut for a dance company. In 2012 Mr. Silverman graduated from the Teacher Training Program at Canada's National Ballet School. Mr. Silverman has participated twice in Ballet Jorgen Solos and Duets and has performed in the show "60 times 60" to his own choreography. In June 2015 his first Dance Film 'Diversion' came to light and later in October he created ‘Anathema’ a solo work danced by Tara Pillon which was part of Fresh Blood. On July 2017 he produced and choreographed his first full evening of dance titled HAI/18 in Toronto at The Dancemakers Centre for Creation Theatre both shows were to a sold out audience. On January 2018 his company ‘Avinoam Silverman Dance’ was invited to take part in the 25th anniversary of Dance Ontario Weekend performing his new work “Anvil 18”.

Ms Caley Kaiman
Caley Kaiman began dancing at the age of 3 and has been studying dance for over 20 years in the disciplines of tap, jazz, ballet, musical theatre, song & dance, hip hop and lyrical/contemporary. She has received honors in Ballet, Tap and Jazz exams from the British Association Teacher’s of Dance (B.A.T.D.). She has been teaching dance for the City of Markham Parks and Recreation Department for 17 years. Caley completed the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act course, Policies and Procedures and a High 5 training course in Healthy Child Development. She was a solo dancer for “Dance Access” at Unionville High School and was part of Unionville High School’s Showtime Production of “Broadway on Trial” in grade 12. Caley also performed in Seneca College’s Performing Arts Club in solo dance while she studied Early Childhood Education. She completed her accredited training with Dance Masters of America Teachers’ Training School at the State University in Buffalo New York in Tap, Jazz and Ballet. She also is certified by St. John’s Ambulance in Standard First Aid and CPR and keeps up to date with all her police reference checks and medical records. She is also currently enrolled in ADAPT teacher's training program taking place in Vaughan.
Throughout her 18 years of competitive dance, Caley won many awards bringing many overall and special awards from both Canada and the United States national competitions in solo dance including Happy Feet, Bang On, Sweet Feet, Wicked Accents, That’s Entertainment, Born To Perform, Gregory Hines, One Way Ticket to Broadway, Expressive Performance along with the Extreme Team Package just to name a few.
Caley has performed at many community events such as the Festival of Lights, Markham Village Festival and Stouffville Strawberry Festivals. She is a 7-time winner in solo dance at the Markham Fair Teen Talent Contest where she was also a judge and a bursary winner of the York Region Celebration of the Arts in 2005. Caley was a solo dance finalist at the CNE Rising Star Competition.
Caley has performed on television with the Tap Dogs (Benmergui Live) and on stage in the NHL Fantasy 2000 (Hip Hop), the Fashion Designer Awards as both a dancer and model, Casino Rama, National Tap Day, Taste of the Danforth and in Marquee Productions Musicals “Man of La Mancha” and "Mary Poppins". Caley also performed her bursary winning solo from the Celebration of the Arts at the Pan Am Games Celebration of Events in June 2016.
Caley danced at Byfield Dance Experience (BDX dance studio) in Toronto and performed at Shawn Byfield’s 2-year anniversary showcase at the Panasonic Theatre in 2011. She participated in weekly tap jams and shows such as Ray Charles at the Great Hall with the Toronto Rhythm Initiative (TRI). Caley continues to attend various dance workshops with Matthew Ceaser Cruz. She loves to share her passion and love for dance by teaching dance to children ages 2 ½ and up.
